We can’t reach all our destinations by bike. Some routes require us to continue on foot. We build bike trailers that can handle that. Just reattach the drawbar, and off we go.

A versatile system.
The strength of our bike trailers lies not only in the materials but also in their design. The sturdy aluminum chassis provides an open loading area with numerous mounting options. Boxes, bags, attachments, or custom solutions can all be secured here and won’t slide off.
Accessories can be added, swapped out, or built yourself. The system is designed for all kinds of expansions. This ensures the trailer remains usable even as requirements change. And components can be replaced or repaired as needed.

Better safe than sorry
The bike hitch connects the bike and trailer—and bears responsibility. In rain, snow, potholes, and under load.
That's why we rely on tried-and-tested Weber couplings from Germany. And for the most demanding applications, we have developed our own stainless steel rear coupling system.

About Hinterher
Hinterher was founded in Munich in 2012 by Peter Hornung.
As a carpenter and architect, he spent years building furniture in a small workshop in the Glockenbach district. The quality was right—but the delivery van wasn't. Too big, too slow, too many parking problems in the city.
The solution: a bike trailer that works like a good tool. Attractive, robust, flexible, repairable.
After five prototype series, it was clear: this is more than just a solution to a specific problem. It's an attitude.
Hinterher has received numerous awards for its design, functionality, and sustainability—but more importantly, thousands of its trailers are now driving on roads around the world.
