While we don’t build turnkey dog trailers, the Hinterher is, of course, driven by many dog lovers and used for transporting their pets. Especially with larger dog breeds, conventional dog trailers quickly reach their limits in terms of load capacity. With the Hinterher, you also have a versatile trailer that—thanks to our modular system—can be tailored quite optimally for dog transport (support for the entire trailer, wheel guards, lighting, etc.), but can of course also be used perfectly for everyday transport.

We now also offer a suspension system that’s ideal for transporting even heavy dogs or multiple dogs. This high-performance suspension system fits all of our trailer models and outperforms any other suspension system currently available for dog trailers. We also recommend using a comfortable foam mat as a base for the dog crate when transporting dogs. This also provides a beneficial secondary cushioning effect.
