Motorradtransport

Some people have a hard time imagining just what can be transported by bike. You often hear this, especially from self-proclaimed internal-combustion-engine enthusiasts: “Ha ha, go ahead and try transporting something really heavy on a bike…” After all, “you” (whether you’re green nutcases, out-of-touch eco-esotericists, idealists out of touch with reality, or even “car haters”) can’t possibly replace a 40-metric-ton truck anyway. We don’t want to do that anyway. But we do want to use the bicycle as a means of transportation where it can easily—and often even more comfortably—replace a car.
That’s why we always strive to push the boundaries a little and fulfill our journalistic duty of care toward the public by providing relevant visual material—as proof, so to speak, of what was actually transported. Here are a few examples of motorcycle transport. Admittedly, we only had to drive a few kilometers, within the city limits. But we probably had fewer problems than we would have with a car—neither with traffic, nor with finding a parking spot, nor with renting a car equipped with a suitable motorcycle trailer, which, after all, not everyone has sitting around at home… And maybe we’ll see this more often in the future anyway ;-)
