Hinterher beim Pumuckl im Kino
As a child, I loved the Pumuckl stories, and my own children love them too. Of course, we went as a family to see the fantastic new adaptation in the movie theater. And suddenly my son shouted, “Dad, look, a Hinterher!” Sure enough, there was a Hinterher in Master Carpenter Eder’s backyard, waiting for its next assignment. It’s no secret that our founder, Peter, is a trained carpenter himself and that we developed our bike trailers with a deep love for craftsmanship in a Munich backyard workshop. But the fact that we’ve now essentially become “colleagues” of Master Eder has surprised, honored, and moved us.
For us, this is more than just a nice prop. It’s a wonderful affirmation that our mobile helpers belong right where true craftsmanship is practiced—whether in the real world or in a movie. If you look closely, you might spot it at the next screening!
