Silent Disco Berlin
A “silent disco” is as simple as it is ingenious: All participants wear wireless headphones and dance together to music that remains completely silent to outsiders. In Berlin, this dancing procession has been winding its way through the historic city center—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—for four years now—and right in the middle of it all, one of our bike trailers rolls along, carrying all the equipment.
For this project in the capital, we needed a solution that could easily handle the constant switch between biking and walking. We chose a modified version of our Hmini bike trailer. It’s compact enough for even the tightest spaces, elevators, and locations, and thanks to a retractable stabilizer wheel, it’s also extremely stable when carried on foot. The trailer can be completely disassembled in a matter of seconds. Thanks to the aluminum corner guards on the back, combined with the LED light mount, the trailer can be safely parked on its narrow side in an upright position.
