The answer is our two models, the Hxxl and Hxxxl Light—two extremely high-performance bike trailers that are, of course, also available in a subtle olive green. Whether for hunting, forestry, or general use in the woods, our trailers can be paired with any bike or e-bike and, when not in use, can be stored upright in the basement or garage to save space.
Requirements for a Hunting Trailer
To ensure successful transport over rough terrain, we have specifically optimized our models for use in the field:
Off-Road Capability: Optional suspension systems and Schwalbe Smart Sam tires for maximum traction on forest trails.
Stable Stand: A combination of a two-legged stand at the front and a lowerable support at the rear allows for loading from all sides without the trailer tipping over.
High load capacity: Sturdy designs rated for a load capacity of 80 kg to 100 kg —ideal for hauling heavy game.
Flexibility: The handcart feature allows you to convert the trailer from the drawbar position into a sturdy handcart in just a few simple steps. If you want to cover longer distances on foot, you can snap the optional rickshaw handlebar onto the trailer and pull even heavy items by hand.
The medium-sized hunting trailer: Hxxl
Our Hxxl model is our recommended medium-sized bike trailer for hunting. Its cargo area has interior dimensions of 84 x 61 cm (L x W). We recommend our “Bordwand light” side panel as a useful add-on; it pairs perfectly with a fabric game tray and also offers good securing options for transporting rifles.
