Löwebrot in Basel

With his startup Löwebrot in Basel, company founder Leon Weidenmüller is showing what modern mobility can look like.
“The trailer, in its original form, comes from a manufacturer called ‘Hinterher’ in Munich. At first, I found it especially practical because it’s great for transporting our standard bread crates. That way, I could handle everything by bike and go to the markets. But I still had to carry quite a bit of equipment, like extra boards and an awning. That’s why I came up with the idea of converting the trailer so that it could double as a market stall. With some help—especially from a carpenter friend—we did all the modifications ourselves.”

The Hinterher bike trailer used is an Hxxxl.
