What comes after the two-seater? When the kids outgrow the classic child trailer, but the car has long since been scrapped, it’s time for custom-built solutions. Christian from Dresden faced exactly this challenge: Doing the weekly grocery shopping in the cramped child trailer was “less than ideal,” but he didn’t want to give up the familiar handling of a high handle and a sturdy jogger wheel for hikes.
The solution: A custom-built trailer based on our Hinterher axles and wheels, combined with a unique way to repurpose a handle (hint: snow shovel).
When a Boat Trailer Becomes a Log Truck
We actually designed the H2O model for kayaks and canoes. But a customer has now shown us—with a rather impressive “special transport”—that it’s also perfect for tackling your next attic renovation or building a fence in the backyard.

The Foldable Home: A Lightweight Bicycle Trailer
When people think of a bicycle trailer, they often picture heavy, bulky structures. Peter has solved this problem with flying colors: His homemade design, based on a Hinterher chassis, weighs only about 30 kg, including the mattress. This not only saves your calves and the battery, but also reduces wear on the brakes during downhill rides. The best part: The entire bike trailer can be disassembled into five parts, so it fits even in the smallest basement.
