Winter & Snow
In the woods. Near the woods. By bike
Some people drive to the home improvement store.
We ride our bikes into the woods. 😄
A chainsaw, muscle power, and a trailer full of firewood. What more could you want?
We used a sturdy touring bike from Velotraum, the Hinterher Hmax bike trailer with heavy-duty equipment, and about 80 kg of wood. And Lorenz. With his Stihl.
Afterward, at the movie theater to see *Pumuckl*
As a child, I loved the Pumuckl stories, and my own children love them, too. Of course, we went as a family to see the fantastic new adaptation in the movie theater. And suddenly my son shouted, “Dad, look, there’s a ‘Hinterher’!”
Four in a Row: A Road Train for Parking Day
Road trains are usually something you only see in Australia, where those long truck convoys are the ultimate nemesis for cyclists. In comparison, a road train you’re riding behind is relatively harmless, but of course it’s quite a sight.
Work first, then wine
Who needs a car when you can bring 54 bottles of Palatinate wine home on two wheels? Through his photos, Martin shows us how he uses his van—sometimes to haul yard trimmings from the garden, and other times as the base for a full piggyback rig.
From Sea Level to 4,000 Meters: Thomas Oschwald
Swiss adventurer Thomas Oschwald has been our toughest product tester for years. This time, his journey took him from the coast all the way up to over 4,000 meters. He took along our Hinterher Hmax, configured as a hiking rickshaw with a built-in drum brake.
DemokRADtie Tour: With Music and 1,250 km Under Our Belts
Singer-songwriter Erik Stenzel is currently on a very special journey. His project, the DemokRADtie Tour, is taking him across the country—always by bike, with his equipment in tow. We’re thrilled that a Hinterher trailer is part of this rolling adventure and is helping Erik bring his music and messages directly to the people.
Our New Dog Taxi
Sometimes things don't go as planned—even when it comes to choosing a dog. Malisch, the Samoyed, was actually supposed to be my athletic companion on bike rides.
Firewood with Hmax
Load the long firewood into the car? No, there's a much easier, faster way—and it's less messy and causes less damage.
On the Way to Portugal
Cycling trips always involve making sacrifices and stripping things down to the essentials. Of course, you can’t take everything from home with you. But our trailers help you pack the things that make traveling and camping a little more comfortable.
Hmax in Sweden
Dan from Sweden apparently also uses his Hmax bike trailer to transport his tree-trimming tools. Aluminum box, ladder, loppers…
Active: Kick Scooter + Trailer
It's no secret that our bike trailers look great attached to a bike. But Ulrike is showing us a whole different, sporty side right now: she simply uses her Hmax light in combination with a kick scooter.
Refreshment After a Move
Winter is coming
Among the many unassuming things that surround us in everyday life, there are always a few with which we form a very special bond. Perhaps because they’re with us through life’s moments, big and small? Or because they help us with things that are truly important to us? Or because they help us become more independent.
Hmax on the wheelchair
Andreas, who uses an Hmax on his wheelchair, has regained a bit of freedom.
Sunny October Greetings
Being out in nature makes many people happy. Us, too. Many thanks to Veronika for the beautiful photos and the kind words:
