Traveling by Bike with a Child

Anyone who goes on a cycling trip or a longer bike tour with kids knows the problem: The little ones want to ride on their own—until they no longer want to or can’t anymore. And then what? For Thomas, the answer was simple: Then the kids ride up front in the cargo bike, and their bikes go in the back on the large Hinterher trailer. More specifically, it’s a transporter built specifically for this purpose—namely, to transport bicycles. Anyone who looks at the route profile of Thomas’s bike trip will probably want to take a seat in the front of the cargo bike and let themselves be carried along.

Maximilian’s account shows us that there’s another way—namely, being completely self-sufficient and relying solely on muscle power.

Nursery in Antwerp

You can’t transport everything by bike and bike trailer. But often it’s simply the force of habit that automatically leads you to reach for a delivery van, a Sprinter, or a car—and not necessarily out of necessity. We received some great feedback and a photo from our customer in Antwerp, a gardener, that shows just what’s possible.

Nursery in Berlin

There are many places cars can’t reach. The Immergrün nursery in Berlin uses its Transporter 1 for work at cemeteries, among other things. This eliminates the need to transfer cargo and allows them to travel in an environmentally friendly, unobtrusive, and quiet manner.
