With this aluminum box, which was specially manufactured for us, it is now possible for the first time to transport three Euroboxes in a row in a rainproof and lockable manner. But this Hinterher is also Hinterher for the "last mile" in goods logistics, for craftsmen who need a lot of space, or for information or sales stands. The optional webbing loops on the box lid offer even more options for lashing things down or quickly stowing them under the elastic band.
With the optional lowerable support wheel at the front and support at the rear, the trailer is extremely easy to maneuver and can be used as a work table.

Tested under the toughest conditions
A fleet of Hinterher has been in daily use by UPS in Munich since 2017. This has allowed the trailer components to be tested under extreme conditions and continuously improved. Years of fine-tuning have resulted in a sophisticated and extremely reliable transport system. The chassis, drawbar, and coupling system can withstand the toughest conditions while requiring minimal maintenance. Thanks to the modular design, components can be easily replaced in the rare event of a defect, often within a few seconds.
Suspension
If you'd like, you can also configure your Hinterher with suspension. This high-performance suspension system outperforms anything previously available for bike trailers and can handle loads of up to 100 kg. The suspension not only protects your cargo from bumps, but it also lets you ride with the trailer much more comfortably and quickly.

Overrun brake
Any Hinterher trailer can be equipped with a so-called overrun brake upon request. This independent braking system ensures that the trailer slows down automatically as soon as you brake on your bike. Especially when used frequently with heavy loads—whether for personal or commercial use—the overrun brake offers a significant safety advantage.
Can also be maneuvered on foot
Our box trailers can also be easily moved without a bicycle if necessary. With a lowerable support wheel, the box trailer is self-supporting and can be maneuvered extremely well in confined spaces. If the box trailer is equipped with the heavy-duty drawbar system, the drawbar can also be moved drawbar the bicycle position to the handcart position, allowing the trailer to be used as a handcart as well.

Every one of our bicycle trailers is designed to be extremely easy to repair should a component ever become damaged or worn. All parts are easily accessible and can be replaced using basic tools. Every single component—even the industrial bearings in the wheel hub—is available individually from us.

Regional manufacturing, sustainable business practices
Almost all components of the Hinterher are manufactured in our immediate vicinity. Only a small number of parts are sourced from Northern Italy and Sweden. Short supply routes, high environmental and social standards, local value creation, and outstanding technical expertise define our manufacturing approach.
Each Hinterher is assembled by our team in the west of Munich according to customer specifications. For shipping, we reuse cardboard and process it with our “green monster” into protective packing material. For us, true sustainability means building products that are made to last—and that can be repaired when needed.

The Hinterher is very easy to pull. You’ll notice it most when starting off; otherwise, our bike trailers handle very neutrally. This is due to the low mounting position of our trailers on the bike, which has virtually no effect on riding dynamics. Even when loaded, the Hinterher is surprisingly easy to ride. Compared to cargo bikes in particular, even inexperienced cyclists can handle a trailer more easily. Please note, however, that the same rules apply to riding with a trailer as to driving a car: Ride cautiously and adapt to the conditions! Carefully test your trailer’s handling in various scenarios to get a feel for its capabilities—but also its limits.

You’ll need to attach a Weber coupler to your bike’s rear axle—either on its own or together with your bike’s kickstand—just once. The coupler then remains on the bike permanently. This allows you to connect the trailer to your bike at any time with a single “click” in just a few seconds.
We use the high-quality Weber hitch 'Made in Germany,' which has been the gold standard in the cycling industry for many years and is designed to be extremely robust.

The good news: We can install a high-quality Weber hitch on almost any bike. Generally, there are two places where the hitch can be installed on the bike: on the rear wheel axle or together with the bike's kickstand, if it meets the requirements.
We'd be happy to advise you on choosing the right clutch. Please send us a photo of your rear wheel (taken from the left side as you face the direction of travel).
