Die Form der Markise sowie das aufwändig gearbeitete Gestänge aus wunderschönem Eschenholz verleihem dem Infostand einen nostalgischen, handwerklichen Touch.

Der Infostand mit Markise lässt sich bei Bedarf auch einfach ohne Fahrrad bewegen. Zwei Optionen stehen hierfür zur Auswahl. Durch ein absenkbares Stützrad wird der Infostand selbststehend und kann sehr einfach per Hand geschoben werden. Dabei erlaubt das schwenkbare Stützrad bestes Manövrieren auch auf kleinstem Raum. Die zweite Option kann mit dem Stützrad kombiniert oder einzeln ausgewählt werden: Die vorne mittig montierte Deichselaufnahme erlaubt das Umstecken der Deichsel aus dem Fahrradanhängerbetrieb in den Handwagenbetrieb (und umgekehrt).

Seinen besonderen Charakter erhält der mobile Infostand durch die Form der Markise und dem Gestänge aus Holz. So erinnert er an traditionelle Marktstände, was durch die handwerkliche Fertigung unterstrichen wird. Eschenholz war aufgrund seiner hervorragenden Eigenschaften und Elastizität seit jeher das bevorzugte Material für Markisengestänge. Es wird in stundenlanger Handarbeit aufwändig in Deutschland hergestellt und besteht aus vielen liebevollen Details und konstruktiven Lösungen. Mit wenigen Handgriffen lässt sich das Gestänge für den Transport zusammenfalten und in einer Tasche auf dem Anhänger verzurren.

Für den Infostand-Anhänger lassen wir eine Markise nähen, die in 18 verschiedenen Farben erhältlich ist. Der hochwertige Stoff ist besonders farbbeständig, stark wasserabweisend und wird speziell für Sonnenschirme in der Außengastronomie hergestellt.

Every one of our bicycle trailers is designed to be extremely easy to repair should a component ever become damaged or worn. All parts are easily accessible and can be replaced using basic tools. Every single component—even the industrial bearings in the wheel hub—is available individually from us.

Regional manufacturing, sustainable business practices
Almost all components of the Hinterher are manufactured in our immediate vicinity. Only a small number of parts are sourced from Northern Italy and Sweden. Short supply routes, high environmental and social standards, local value creation, and outstanding technical expertise define our manufacturing approach.
Each Hinterher is assembled by our team in the west of Munich according to customer specifications. For shipping, we reuse cardboard and process it with our “green monster” into protective packing material. For us, true sustainability means building products that are made to last—and that can be repaired when needed.

The Hinterher is very easy to pull. You will notice it most when starting off, but otherwise our bike trailers behave very neutrally. This is due to the low mounting of our trailers on the bike, which means that the riding dynamics are hardly affected.
Even when loaded, a Hinterher is easy to ride. Compared to cargo bikes in particular, even inexperienced cyclists find it easier to handle a trailer.
Please note that the same rules apply to riding with a trailer as to driving a car: ride carefully and adapt to the conditions! Carefully test the handling characteristics of your trailer in different scenarios to get a feel for its capabilities, but also its limitations. -
You only need to attach a Weber hitch to your bike's rear wheel axle once, or together with your bike's kickstand. The hitch then remains permanently on the bike. This allows the trailer to be connected to the bike with a 'click' in just a few seconds, anytime.
We use the high-quality Weber hitch 'Made in Germany,' which has been the gold standard in the cycling industry for many years and is designed to be extremely robust.

The good news: We can install a high-quality Weber hitch on almost any bike. Generally, there are two places where the hitch can be installed on the bike: on the rear wheel axle or together with the bike's kickstand, if it meets the requirements.
We are happy to advise you on choosing the right hitch. Please send us a photo of your rear wheel (taken from the left side in the direction of travel).
