A boat trailer for airplanes
An awesome project: a DIY trailer for really large model airplanes and a long folding boat based on our H2O-66 with heavy-duty drawbars. Many bicycle caravans are built using exactly the same principle: an H2O with a continuous drawbar and two hull supports for bolting on a panel. Thanks to this design, the trailer’s superstructure is largely decoupled from the chassis, allowing it to be built more lightly.

Sehr spannend - aus aller Welt kommen Anfragen für Spezialbootstransporte, die auf unser geniales H2O-System bauen. Hier eine DIY-Lösung, bei der am Ende aber eine große Siebdruckplatte anstatt des H2O-Systems die beste Lösung war.

Wood and Aluminum
Our market stall trailers are typically made from a high-quality aluminum box. It is lightweight, sturdy, lockable, rainproof, and weather-resistant. These market stalls are ideal for many outdoor applications. However, you can also simply build a market stall out of wood, which gives it a completely different look. Here’s an example of an information booth or market stall based on the Hinterher Hxxl.

Sword Fencing
Das neue Jahr beginnt gleich mal mit einem Schwertlastanhänger. Richtig gelesen, zum Transport von Schwertern! Ein DIY-Projekt eines unserer Kunden.
Der Anhänger wird im Rahmen des Schwertfechtens verwendet um das ganze Trainingsmaterial zwischen den Ausübungsorten hin und her zu transportieren.
Milking
Have we ever shown you how sheep are milked at a Swiss mountain sheep farm? At a location that’s practically only accessible by bike and a special trailer—one that was made possible with our support and, of course, parts from Hinterher? We think it’s a great project, and there are so many situations where you don’t necessarily need a car to pull it!

Bicycle Trailers by Ekki
Ein toller Fahrradwohnwagen, konsequent auf Leichtbau getrimmt mit vielen tollen Detaillösungen von EKKI (siehe Links zu dessen Videos unten). Nicht nur Leichtbaumaterialien führen zu einem geringen Gewicht, sondern auch der Aufbau des Fahrradwohnwagens: Fahrwerk und Aufbau sind gewissermaßen entkoppelt. Das sorgt dafür, dass der Aufbau viel leichter als sonst üblich sein kann, da er nicht die Kräfte im Fahrbetrieb aushalten muss.

A SOUP A DAY
Thesis Project “A Soup a Day”
In February of this year, a product design student from ECAL Lausanne approached us asking if we would support him with his thesis project for a mobile soup kitchen for the homeless. We did just that, providing a black Hinterher Hxxl, some components, and a lot of expertise. The result is an impressive project that might even lead to a production run. Congratulations to Clemens Neureiter on his thesis project, which will remain on display in Lausanne until fall and is then expected to be donated to a social project in Vienna. And we’re constantly amazed at the kinds of great projects our well-designed bike trailers inspire.
