It’s the perfect time to set up compost pits. And the best thing to put in them is something as nutrient-rich as horse manure. And since there’s a horse manure pickup spot right near my workplace, I took my trailer out today and brought back a whole tubful.
By the way: It was cold, and then it got dark, too. People of a more delicate disposition would surely have preferred to stay in their warm, dry homes. But then they wouldn’t have made it to either the pickup spot or the destination… 🙂🌻
